Kimi ni Todoke, Season 2
Episode 0: Even though this was a recap episode, I enjoyed it a lot. Much more than I expected. Besides, I haven't rewatched KnT in a while, so it was a good refresher, and reminded me how much I liked the show. It introduced the new opening and ending themes. The opening was good, nice art and song. But I loved the ending; the new song beats the old one by a mile, and I find myself listening to it over and over again. It's a beautiful love song, and really fitting for the show.
Episode 1: Great start to a new season, even better than it was in the manga. Gotta love Sawako's extremely low self-esteem and impeccably clean record of nonassertiveness. Don't have much to say, but this cute Valentine's Day episode introduced a new cast member -- Kento, whom I did not like at all in the manga, but I think I will like a lot in the anime if only because he is voiced by one my favoritest seiyuu, the awesome amazing super fabulous Miyano Mamoru. He and Aya Hirano are reunited! The recap episode was extra valuable because it brought back the memory of the hilarious Death Note-like scene where Kurumi writes Sawako's name in her Book of Bastards Who Dared to Call Her Ume. I love you, Kurumizawa!
AND PIIIINNNNN!!!! I love you, Pin!!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!!
